WHO WE ARE

Peoples Transformation Party is a party created with the aspiration of transforming our country. As a country, we are confronted with formidable challenges that must be addressed. The political landscape of the country has become unbearable and to some extent toxic. 

Pertinent issues for discussion, such as pressing issues of national, economic, and social interests are no longer the topics that preoccupy the minds and lips of politicians; but rather trivial issues of partisan politics, mud-slinging, personality clashes, the blame-game, and name-calling.

OUR BELIEF

We believe that the primary preoccupation of any well-meaning political party should be to help the country evolve from its current state of quagmire to an economic development trajectory that would help reorient the country on a track of substantive and meaningful political discourse, with the objective of enlightening the citizenry to hasten the economic development agenda.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The National Conference is the Supreme decision-making organ of the Party and shall be responsible for all Decision-making of the Party with power to determine Party Policy and Programmes. 

All Governance matters of the Party originating through the Governing Council shall be tabled at the National Conference for decision-making either through voting or consensus.

NATIONAL GOVERNING COUNCIL

The National Governing Council is the second highest organ of the Party and shall be responsible for all Governance Matters of the Party.  All decisions of the Party shall be tabled through the Governing Council to the National Conference.  

All decision  of the Party, unless sanctioned by the National Conference, shall not be adopted or recognized as the position of the Party.

NATIONAL EXECUTIVE

The National Executive is the third highest organ of the Party and shall be responsible for all Administrative Matters of the Party.  Administrative Matters of the Party shall be left in the hands of Technocrats and shall be divulged from Political matters. 

The National Executive shall be independent of Political influence and shall conduct itself in that manner on grounds of professionalism, ethics, and integrity with safeguarding the reputation of the Party as one of its core objects.

NATIONAL WOMENS LEAGUE

The National Women League is the national body of the Party that shall be responsible for promoting all matters of interest pertaining to women.  This body will be the lobby arm of the Party on matters that are of pertinent interest to women.  

This body shall be composed exclusively of women and shall have structures at the Regional and District levels from which the leadership of the national league shall be selected.

The National Womens League member comprises of 17 Positions to be revealed at the appropriate time after they have been appointed.

 

NATIONAL YOUTH LEAGUE

The National Youth League is the national body of the Party that shall be responsible for promoting all matters of interest pertaining to the youths of the country.  This body will be the lobby arm of the Party on matters that are of pertinent interest to the youths.  

This body shall be composed exclusively of young people of both gender between the ages of 18 and 30 years and shall have structures at the Regional and District levels from which the leadership of the national league shall be selected.

The National Youth League member comprises of 17 Positions to be revealed at the appropriate time after they have been appointed.
