This adage on Leadership is one that stands out for our Political Party. This philosophy on Leadership is apt in several ways in depicting the political landscape that currently exists in The Gambia, where political leaders would rather be in the good books of the people they lead, rather than focusing on the team they lead to ensure economic performance for the overwhelming satisfaction and appreciation of the citizenry.

As a Party, our stance on Leadership is not one of popularity contest but rather about motivating, empowering, and inspiring a Shared Vision amongst the citizenry to realise prosperity and enhanced welfare. As a Party, we will focus on the team we lead with the objective of ensuring we deliver extraordinary achievements for the citizenry. As leaders, we will focus on delivering the Shared Vision we have for the country and not be distracted by the trivialities of the day.
